Sizing & Fit
How do I find my size?
Check the size chart on each product page before ordering — armored gear fits differently than regular streetwear because of the armor inserts. For armored pants, if you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing down for a snug, secure fit that keeps the armor properly positioned. Armored hoodies run true to size. Lounge hoodies are a slim fit — if you want a looser fit, size up. Lounge sweatpants run true to size. T-shirts run true to size for an oversized fit, size down for a snug fit.
What if my size doesn't fit right?

Do the armor inserts affect sizing?
No — the armor pockets are built into the garment's regular fit, so you order your normal size.
Protection & Armor
What kind of protection is built into Two Down gear?
Our armored pieces use CE Level 1/2 armor inserts at key impact zones — knees, hips, elbows, shoulders, and back, depending on the piece — combined with Kevlar-reinforced high-impact zones for abrasion resistance. CE Level 2 is the higher of the two CE armor ratings, offering greater impact protection than CE Level 1.
How do I insert or remove the armor?
Fold the armor piece in half and slide it into the armor pocket, with the fabric side facing out and the armor facing in toward your body. This lets you remove the armor for washing and reinsert it before your next ride.
Can I wash the garment with the armor still inside?
No — always remove the armor before washing.
Is the armor replaceable if it wears out or I lose a piece?
Yes — we sell armor sets separately if you damage or lose a piece.
Are Two Down pieces legal to wear on the road / do they meet any riding safety standards?
Our armor inserts are CE Level 1/2 rated, the industry standard for impact protection in motorcycle gear. For additional information, view our Legal Statement page.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Yes — please request any changes or cancellations within 2 hours of purchase.
Do you offer discount codes or promotions?
Yes — join our email list for early access to drops, discount codes, and rider content. First-time subscribers get 10% off their first order with code RIDE10.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Orders process within 1–3 business days and arrive within 3–7 business days once shipped.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — orders over $350 ship free. Orders under $350 are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.
Do you ship internationally?
Not currently — as of right now, we only ship within the United States.
How do I track my order?
You'll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.
Returns, Exchanges & Warranty
What's your return policy?
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery
- Items must be new, unused, and in original condition
- Items must not show signs of riding, outdoor use, odors, damage, or wear
- All original items included in the purchase must be returned (tags, packaging, accessories, or bundled items)
Returns that don't meet these conditions may be refused or sent back to the customer.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes — we offer exchanges under the same conditions as our return policy above.
Is there a warranty on the armor or garment?
Two Down takes great pride in manufacturing the highest quality products possible. We will always do our very best to provide 100% customer satisfaction. Shiver Shield outer wear gear is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 1 year from the date of purchase. If, for any reason, manufacturing defects occur, we will replace, repair or refund your purchase at our discretion. This guarantee does not include wear and tear, wrong sizing or misuse of our products. Any hardware, such as zippers, buttons, magnets, adjustment straps, hooks or latches have a 30-day warranty from the date of purchase. If your Two Down Clothing is defective, please refer to the Returns and Exchanges section on our Policies page. We reserve the right to change this warranty as we see fit.
Care Instructions
How do I wash Two Down gear?
- Remove armor before washing
- Machine wash cold, inside out
- Use mild detergent only
- Do not bleach or use fabric softener
- Hang dry
- Do not iron on prints, logos, or protective panels
- Do not dry clean
How should I store my armor when not riding?
Hang clothing in a cool, dry environment. Armor can be left in the garment or removed and stored on a flat surface.
